The new theme will remain hidden and accessible only through a direct link, allowing easy review without impacting live visitors or sales. - App reintegration (existing apps):
Reinsert existing app blocks or snippets into the new theme and ensure they function properly. Note: this service does not involve a new app installation or feature development. - QA:
Perform cross-device checks for Home, Collection, Product, Cart, and other templates, ensuring that all past features have been successfully moved to the new theme and are functioning properly within it. - 30-day support (within scope):

As this is a theme update, your current theme will remain unchanged, and you will have access to all updates available for it at no additional cost.
Note: If you wish to migrate your functionalities to a different or new theme, please contact us to request a custom quote.
Do you edit code in this service?
Yes, but only as part of migrating your existing features to the latest theme version. We’ll recreate or re-hook your current customizations so they work properly within the new theme structure. This doesn’t include building new functionalities or writing additional custom code beyond what already exists.
Will my store look the same after the update?
Yes. Maintaining your current look is the goal. We update the theme version and migrate your existing custom features so the storefront remains familiar.

Do you add new features during the update?
Not in this service. We migrate what you already have. If you need new features you can contact us for a quote or get a custom dev pack.
What is the process and timeline?
- We confirm what specific functionalities you have that are most important for you to keep and get collaborator access.
- We install the latest theme version (hidden from view and only available via direct link)
- We recreate your current theme's look and feel to the new version.
- We migrate your existing custom features and apps.
- Perform full QA and fix any update-related issues.
- Share a preview link for your review.
- You publish your theme after revisions and when you're ready to go live.
Typical timeline: 8 - 12 business days after access is granted and we confirm which past features you want us to migrate.
What about my apps?
We reconnect existing apps to the new theme. New app installations or deeper configuration are quoted separately.
Does this service include SEO?
No, we transfer your content to the new theme version, but the content itself remains unchanged.
What if something breaks after go-live?
We include 30 days of update-related support. We also keep your previous theme as a rollback safety net.
Are speed optimizations included?
No, it is a separate service. The latest theme version provides an optimized foundation, so significant speed improvements are expected. However, the migration of your custom code can impact performance. If any specific optimizations are needed to restore peak performance, we will provide a separate quote upon your request.
What’s the revisions policy?
We include 30 days of update-related support. We also keep your previous theme as a rollback safety net.
Can you rush the project?
If your content is ready and our schedule allows, we can propose a rush timeline. Rush fees may apply. Contact us to get a custom quote.
How do payments work?

For more flexible options, choose escrow or two installments — 50% upfront and 50% after 30 days regardless of project status.

How do we communicate during the project?
All project communication happens via email or productivity tools such as Google Docs and Spreadsheets so we have a proper record of all the progress and requests. We can offer videocalls for a fee if you prefer. We do not offer phone service. We reply to all your inquiries within one business day.
